The company behind the lines
GEM Foodtech is the food processing division of Gem Drytech Systems LLP, an engineering company in Kolkata, India, designing and manufacturing industrial drying systems and food processing machinery since 1999.
What we do
We design, build, install and commission complete process lines for fruit, vegetable, spice, grain, root crop and nut processing — from a single washer to a full turnkey plant. Every machine on this site is manufactured in our own Kolkata facility, with food-contact parts in SS 304 or SS 316.
Controlled drying is the core competence the company was built on, which is why dehydration, yield protection and thermal control run through every line we engineer. The same engineering team that designs your plant supports it after commissioning.
More than 112 installations are running across India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, the United States, Africa and Latin America — many of them for repeat customers. See where our lines are running.

Both are Gem Drytech Systems LLP, Kolkata: one engineering team, one manufacturing facility, one installed base held in spares.
Why we publish our numbers
Every line page on this site carries the real flow diagram, mass balance and yield — the figures we design to, not marketing figures. A feasibility built on optimistic yields fails in year one, and we would rather you check our arithmetic before you sign anything.
